  1. How do I order service?

  2. For ordering please click on Pricing link and then Click on Buy Now. You will be taken to scorpioinformatics.com site for completion of ordering, payments.
     
  3. Where are servers located
    All infrastructure is located in New Jersey (USA)
     
  4. I need few rules to be setup at SMTP level. What should i do?
    Please open a support ticket on your customer account at Scorpio Informatics
     
  5. Why is that the DNS will have to be yours. Why can't i use my own NS and point MX records?
    Setting up SPF records, Domain Keys, SRV txt records (if using XMPP service also) needs expertise to do so. To avoid all troubles we require that you update name servers to our name servers and in case you have a site hosted elsewhere we will take all actions to ensure that there's no downtime.
     
  6. Can my old mails also be migrated to your setup?
    Yes we can do that provided your host is running IMAP services on standard port. We will need the IP address and PORT on which IMAP services of your current account is running. Currently we only support migration of mail folders.
     
  7. Can you migrate entire MS Exchange Account to account on your service?
    Advanced migration from MS Exchange will be supported from Q4 2010 onwards.
     
  8. Do you provide hosting also?
    Yes but only on Linux. Please refer all our hosting plans at Scorpio Informatics
     
  9. Can i upgrade my total storage space of my account?
    Yes storage space can be upgraded at any time. Please note that space requirement on our services will be lower than other services as de-duplication of message is employed in storage.
     
  10. Is there any bandwidth/data transfer quota restriction?
    No there is absolutely no restriction on monthly data transfer. Servers are on 100mbit port.
     
  11. Can i take a backup of my own domains on groupware server?
    Yes you can download entire account including mails/contacts/etc from ftp. We shall let you know the details once account is configured and live on our servers/network.
     
  12. Do you do backup of data?
    Yes we keep one copy of backup on a remote server just to take care of any eventuality which may need account restore. Restore is on domain level or entire server level.
     
  13. Can you provide a single tenant server as i do not want to be on shared server?
    Yes this is available for 1000/1500/3000 users currently. Contact us
     
  14. What if i want to cancel the service? Do I get refunds?
    Service can be cancelled anytime within 30 days of signup and we shall refund the unused amount subject to condition that your account has not been suspended due to violation of terms of service.

    Single tenant Dedicated Server based services will require advance intimation of 30 days from next billing date for cancellation.
     
  15. I do not have a domain. Do you provide domain registration facility also?
    Yes we do. While ordering domain is first thing that you would be asked for. So if you do not have a domain select Register new domain and it will be added to order.
     
  16. Do you provide Hosting service also as i may want to move site also?
    Yes we do but only on Linux. We host either on Apache or on LSWS (for php based sites) based servers. We do not do WINDOWS Hosting so in that case we will setup DNS to point hosting to your existing WINDOWS host. We have no plans also of catering to WINDOWS Hosting as less than 17% of active sites on web are using windows for obvious reasons.
     
  17. Do you do site designing also?
    Yes we do. You can contact us from Scorpio Informatics with your requirements.
     
  18. Who manages the server and what is level of support provided?
    Except for user account related functions (which the account admin on file does) we manage everything 24X7. There are absolutely no hidden charges for anything related to server administration.
     
  19. What are modes of payment accepted?
    International Clients:
    Paypal and Wire Transfer. If you have select Bank/Wire Transfer during payment step you will be sent the bank and other details for facilitating wire transfer.
    Indian Clients: Bank Transfer through Check.
